CHAT ROULETTE BEN FOLDS STYLE

So a "performance artist" named Merton already did this, but Ben Folds took his Chat Roulette Piano to a whole new level in one of his concerts he did in Charlotte, NC. Pretty awesome. My wife and I had a chance to meet Ben Folds before a concert at Lloyd Noble (University of Oklahoma) back in 2002. He was super fresh and easy going with us, a very cool guy.

Sometimes I get CDs from musicians or random people I meet, this is usually after I have to tell where I work, "Oh you work at MTV, take my CD, or give me your information." The truth is, I can't really help these people. I don't program the music thats on MTV. The music on MTV is basically controlled by the major labels. Every once in a while, if someone gets a huge following and they can sell a million downloads on iTunes (Owl City), they can probably get their video on MTV.COM. Obviously I'm giving you this lead in because I have come across somebody I know who's music is truly inspirational and refreshing. The band is called LONG WALKS ON THE BEACH. I believe its a 1 person bedroom hobby that has blossomed into a real project . Check it out before anyone else on your block knows about it.
